Description: |
Shrub 1–2 m tall. Main leaves more or less elliptic; margin entire; leaves subtending inflorescences sessile, ovate to ovate-elliptic, 25–78 mm, shallowly cordate at the base, with scattered above. Flowers with corolla pinkish-white, 12.3–14 mm long, pubescent outside; tube 7.5–8.2 mm long, cylindric and abruptly widening in a throat; upper lip broadly triangular and hooded, 4–5 mm long, 2-lobed at the apex; lower lip 3-lobed, 5–5.8 mm long, palate somewhat raised with a herring-bone pattern, hairless. glabrous. Capsule 18–19 mm long, stipitate, hairless. |

Derivation of specific name: | perdita: meaning “lost”, referring to the fact that the holotype collection was long lost, and also that this species may well be lost due to destruction of its forest habitat. |
