Description:
Notes: Three forms are recognized. Forma pilosa R. Fernandes is so far only known from Mt Mulanje.
This species is closely related to Crassula swaziensis and mainly differs in the smaller and more condensed rosettes of leaves; leaves hardly contracted at the base and usually hairless on both surfaces; smaller and denser inflorescences on shorter, appressed hairy peduncles; sepals that are more than half as long as the corolla.
