Annual grass with weak, erect or ascending culms mostly 10–30 cm high. Leaves lanceolate, 3–8 cm long and 5–12 mm wide, thin, flat, acuminate. Panicle ovate, 3–8 cm long, moderately to much branched with very fine branches. Spikelets ovate, 2–2.5 mm long, hairy, acuminate; inferior glume 1/5–1/4 the length of the spikelet; superior glume 3-veined, acuminate; inferior lemma 3-veined; superior lemma pallid, glossy. |
