Description:
|
Medium-sized evergreen tree. Leaves pinnate with 5 - 10 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet. The central rhachis is distinctly winged. The leaflet margins may be entire or toothed. Flowers in spike-like inflorescences, greenish to cream. Fruit a velvety spherical capsule, splitting into 4 valves, revealing bright red seeds. |
