Description: |
Erect, aromatic, sticky-glandular herb up to 60 cm tall, probably annual. Stems and branches, glandular hairy at least when young. Leaves sessile, narrowly oblong or oblanceolate, up to 9 cm long, slightly auriculate at the base, quite thinly textured, sparsely scabrid-glandular on both surfaces. Inflorescence a lax, spreading, corymbose head, up to 20 cm wide; peduncles and inflorescence branches slender and with glandular hairs. Capitula hemispheric, up to 1.5 cm wide, often smaller capitula present lower on the inflorescence branches. Involucral bracts 5-6-seriate, ovate, 3-10 mm long, shiny yellow or pallid brown on outer bracts. Florets yellow. |
