Description: |
Slender annual herb, more or less prostrate or straggling, 10–50 cm tall, hairless. Stem usually branching only in upper part. Leaves alternate, sessile, linear to narrowly lanceolate, 2–12 mm long, midvein prominent beneath, lateral veins obscure; margin with a few small teeth; basal leaves more broadly ovate but falling early. Flowers in a lax inflorescence on pedicels 6–32 mm long. Calyx lobes 0·6–1·4 mm long. Corolla white or bluish, split almost to the base into lanceolate lobes 2·4–5 mm long. Capsule 2–locular, 0·6–1·4 mm long. |
