Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from an extensive rhizome. Stems mostly creeping or climbing, sometimes suberect, up to c. 50 cm long, most parts more or less densely covered with spreading whit hairs(in this variety). Leaves in whorls of 4, elliptic to ovate, up to 22 × 10 mm, 3-veined; apex acute or with a short hyaline point; margin entire. Inflorescence broadly pyramidal or cylindric, many-flowered. Flowers 1.5-3 mm in diameter, greenish-white to yellowish. Fruit densely covered in white tuberculate hooked hairs. |
