Description: |
Shrub up to 3 m. Leaves opposite, elliptic to ovate, hairless except for some hairs on the midrib and small domatia below. Flowers sweetly scented; terminal, solitary or in few-flowered clusters, white with a yellow fringe of hairs in the throat; corolla tube long and narrow. Fruit ellipsoid, with a crown of persistent, leaf-like calyx lobes, orange when ripe. |
