Description: |
Small creeping or scrambling perennial herb with prostrate or ascending branches. Leaves 3-7-lobed, divided nearly to the base with oblong-lanceolate segments, hairy on both surfaces. Inflorescences axillary, 2-flowered on long glandular-hairy peduncles; Petals white, pink or mauve with darker veins; stamens 10. Fruit smooth, hairy with a beak, 13-27 mm long. Older leaves often turn a striking orange-red. |
