Description:
Erect shrubby herb, up to 1.2 m, with annual stems growing from a perennial rootstock. Leaves prominently 3-veined from the base.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: trinervatus: 3-veined
Habitat: A species of woodland, rocky outcrops and along the margins of rivers and waterfalls.
Altitude range: 450 - 2100 m
Flowering time:Dec-Feb
Worldwide distribution: Angola, DRC, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
