Description: |
Perennial herb, up to 50 cm. It is normally evergreen but may die back in drier locations. Leaves spirally arranged on the upper part of the stem, oblanceolate to obovate with small to large teeth, sometimes almost appearing 3-lobed. Inflorescences solitary, axillary; receptacle boat-shaped, often borne vertically, with a long, hair-like appendage at both ends. |
