Slender terrestrial herb to 36 cm tall with irregularly-shaped underground tubers. Leaves 4-5, linear, grass-like, present at flowering time. Inflorescence lax or dense with few to several flowers. Flowers not opening widely, becoming pendent, usually dull mauve to purplish. Lip 3-lobed with 2 lamellae running from near the base to the about the centre of the lobe; spur 1-2 mm long, narrowly cylindric or cylindric-clavate. Fruit pendent. |
