Description: |
A terrestrial up to 1.3 m tall, with long narrow leaves, usually absent or just developing at the time of flowering. The inflorescence may have up to 9 large, deep-pink flowers with purple and yellow markings in the throat. The flowers, up to 3.5 cm in diameter, may vary in size but are otherwise fairly consistent throughout the range. |
