Description:	Delicate dwarf epiphytic herb. The leaves are often faintly banded darker green on the veins. The inflorescence carries up to 10 pale green flowers, 12-13 mm across with a spur c.17 mm long.

Derivation of specific name:	tanganyikense: of Tanganyika (Tanzania)
Habitat:	In deep shade as a low level epiphyte on twigs and branches in the understorey of montane evergreen forest.
