Description: |
Terrestrial herb 30-55 cm tall. Tubers ovoid or ellipsoid, hairy. Stem zigzag., Leaves 9-17 overlapping along the stem, lanceolate 2.5-7.5 cm long, lowermost 2-4 sheath-like, uppermost bract-like. Inflorescence 6-17 cm long, laxly 8-many-flowered; bracts lanceolate, 20-55 mm long, often longer than the flowers. Flowers green to yellow-green. Dorsal sepal erect, ovate 6-11 mm long, convex; lateral sepals obliquely lanceolate, 8-16 mm long, deflexed. Petals 2-lobed; upper lobe erect, narrowly lanceolate, 5-11 mm long; lower lobe more or less filiform, 6-14.5 mm long, spreading and curving upwards. Lip 3-lobed; midlobe linear, 10-14 mm long; side lobes similar to lower petal lobes, 9-14 mm long. Spur 1-2 cm long, swollen in apical half. |
