Description:
Terrestrial herb, 25 - 55 cm. Leaves mostly near the base of the stem, lanceolate to ovate, 7-13 cm long, excluding a distinct petiole of 2.5-5.5 cm. Inflorescence lax up to c. 11-flowered. Flowers white, turning green towards the apices of the tepals. Dorsal sepal erect, up to 20mm long, forming a long narrow hood over the column; lateral sepals spreading or deflexed, up to 22 mm long. Petals entire, erect, linear to filiform. Lip 3-lobed nearly to the base; all lobes filiform, mid-lobe c. 30 mm long, side lobes longer, up to 50mm long. Spur 6-7.5 cm long, green, slender but slightly swollen towards the tip.
