Description: |
Perennial herb, to 80 cm tall, growing from corms. Foliage leaves 3 or more, the lower 2 usually exceeding the inflorescence; upper leaves smaller and bract-like. Stem laxly branched. Inflorescence a lax false panicle. Flowers zygomorphic, white to cream, rarely pale violet; perianth-tube long, 10-15 cm; tepals 6-7 mm wide, extended at right angles to the tube. Stamens 1-sided. Style divided, the branches forked. |
