Description:

Perennial herb, growing from a vertical, underground rhizome. Leaves 1 or 2, up to 40 cm, broadly triangular, strongly cordate, paler and pubescent beneath, particularly on the veins. Inflorescence held in a cream-coloured spade, semi-subterranean, appearing before the leaves. |
