Description: |
Perennial. Culms 30–100 cm. long, wiry, trailing, the internodes longer than the leaf-sheaths. Leaf laminae 1–3 cm. long, 1–3 mm. wide, linear, ± reflexed. Panicle 3–15 cm. long, narrowly ovate; pedicel hairs usually conspicuous, 0.5–2 mm. long. Spikelets 4–5 mm. long, glabrous or with a few hairs at the apex of the inferior glume. Superior lemma glabrous with conspicuous lateral tufts 2–3 mm. long; central awn 4–6 mm. long, the laterals 1.5–4 mm. |
