This is the first record for the Western division of Zimbabwe. Stephen Long, the finder, reported that "the plant is growing on a mound of earth that was left on an abandoned road a couple of years ago by a DDF roads team so I'd guess the seed fell off a vehicle that had previously been working on a road somewhere in the communal lands". |
