Annual herb. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 5-11; petiole very short. Stipules reduced to glands. Flowers yellow or orange, in axillary pedunculate umbels. Calyx with subequal narrow teeth. Petals with long claw, equal to the limb. Fruit glabrous, shiny, composed of 2-5 spherical 1-seeded articles, each dehiscing into 2 valves. Worldwide: 1 species, widespread in tropical Africa Malawi: 1 taxon. |
