Description of the genus

Dwarf patch-forming epiphytic herb with creeping stems bearing pseudobulbs. Pseudobulbs with 1-2 leaves at apex. Inflorescence terminal on the pseudobulb, erect, 1-many-flowered. Lateral sepals joined at the base. Lip entire, recurved, V-shaped in cross section. Pollinia 8.

Worldwide: 4 species in tropical Africa

Malawi: 6 taxa.
