Description of the genus

Terrestrial herbs. Plants erect with leaves scattered on the stem. Infl capitate (galpinii) or spicate. Flowers white to mauve with darker spots. Lateral sepals spreading. Lip minute, entire. Petals united to the dorsal sepal. Spur formed from the dorsal sepal. Anther horizontal.

Worldwide: Zimbabwe and South Africa

Malawi: 3 taxa.
